Loves Own HomeThere's a large full moon in the sky It's a warm and gentle night~ Ever softly a breeze it blows All's almost perfect and just right~ We both are on our own just now Within our weekend cabin high~ We both love each other so Our hearts would never deny~ I've turned all of the lights out And lit a candle large and bright~ An incense of pure wild pine And here we both are on this night~ We don't need one but a fire's slowly burning Forming flickering patterns on the wall~ I hear a night bird softly calling As the coming night it gently falls~ You eyes they tell me you feel the same My heart it is beating so~ Come to me my one true love And never ever let me go~ The night is ours and ours alone Here we are within loves own home~ Come to me my one true love Take the receiver from the phone~ Terrence Michael Sutton Copyright 2007 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
