My Photo Album

Looking at my photo album…
Relighting memories of what's past.
Children smiling… happy faces
Maybe it could last?
Then photos change too youth and more…
Always seeing something new.
Raging sunsets or misty morn
It was always great too view.
Then teenage years opened up those fears…
That haunts us all our days.
That very first touch… a raunchy kiss
The games we used too play?
Looking at my photo album…
Remembering lovers that I loved true.
But forgetting all the tears I cried…
When I found out we were through.
Then my beautiful children…
All their pictures in my heart.
Watching them grow letting them know
This life is just the start.
No doubt soon I'll see their children…
In pictures bright and new.
They'll be inside my photo album
Looking back at you!
