Absent Minded
Life is a JOKE
It might not be funny
but its true
life is a joke
just like i say the world is our playground
and we should build it around the children
and then work on having fun as adults and perfect this life
but life is a joke also
the radio stations
are trying to make you laugh
all day all night
don't you know anything?
every commercial is geared towards a chuckle
and when in the right frame of mind you get giggly
so while we go from playgrounds called beaches
and downhill skiing mou8ntain playgrounds
and eventually when we realise the secret of life
that life can be fun and games
and it is we will all be working jobs we love
we will all be alaughing at the jokes
we will all be playing in the playground
Everything is a joke
art is made around jokes
poetry should be too
life could be a joke if we made it that way
but some people just arent funny
some people have different sense of humor
and the scary thing is
is sometimes when were telling a joke
others think we're serious
and we do it soo often
we just keep it up and see how long we can kee them the one
the one to laugh at and with

but im not sure if i find it funny anymore
now that i know how many times ive been the fool
now that we know beaches and lakes and everything are our playgrounds
we can make lifew more fun
and those working serious jobs are the real heros
the doctor who isnt laughing at your expense
needs cheering up to
The soldiers dieing from the fact were not yet playing world wide rounds
of paintball
know its not funny
but on the radio and television
we try to tell a joke
we are funny all of the time
to cheer eachother up
from morning to night
music is sort of like that but the saviour of relationships
a wingman of faithfulness telling you your lover is not out betraying
enough about that
Im sure im a life long nostradamus to fool
for the reason we have all our holidays but blame jesus
Im sure im the prophet to surprise one day or break his curse or something
either way my life is a joke
but shouldnt i be laughing to
because if im not
its gonna be taken as an insult
