Heart Of The Matter

My Scotland, And Me ....

All Photographs taken by me (except the ones I'm in) those were taken by friends.

Raging rivers, gentle streams,
Dappled sunlight, evergreens,

Rolling hills, mountain climbs,
Memories made of happy times,

Rainbows, sunbeams, peek through cloud,
The Deil's Cauldron, hear it loud,

Water crashing, through a cave,
Venture further, if you're brave,

Red squirrels scamper out of sight,
Watch an eagle taking flight,

Alert on high ground, a lone red deer,
Just out of reach yet ever near,

Waterfalls and falling rain,
Misty morns and rough terrain,

A fairytale castle that's hidden from view,
Centuries old, yet looking brand new,

A live history lesson, you get that for free,
An' ah got a pictur, o' Scotty, an me!

(A special thanks to Scotty Wilson from Killin, for the history lesson.
I always suspected I had Royal Blood .... Aye!)
