Happenstance
We were two ships on a foggy, windswept night.
Til the lighthouse's wonderfully warm, bright beam
was cast upon us bringing us safely to port.
Upon the creaky, old, weather beaten beams of the moorings
did we by such merry happenstance meet.
And with just one quick glimpse of your beautiful,
sweet angels face did my heart swoon with love,
and my soul quake with desire to know your sweet love.
