The earth awakens, kissed anew
Fragrant winds arise kind and true
Writers have fresh inspiration
Pens clutched with anticipation
The poet's voice will soon be heard.
Faithful pens prepare in silence
In a crowded world of violence
Embracing the notion of peace
Praying the battles to cease.
