BOYFRIEND

He's supposed to be a man
A boyfriends all he wants to be
He comes to hold my hand
Then goes on home to Marie

He's 55 years old
A senior citizen
His love refuses to unfold
And let me in

He's not going to live with me
Yet, he wants his way only
Well, if I'm not going to be his wife, I'm free
So go on home to her, I won't get lonely

He's not talking about my legs
They're long and tall and tan
Won't come to me as his body begs
That he be all the man

He's got her there in bed
She drives me crazy
Always here in my head
Heading into lazy

He's just my boyfriend
Won't share a house with me
From the start to the end
I'm trapped in the middle of his life with Marie.
