 Being Truthful
Honesty is always the best policy
Whenever you make an apology
Never compromise what you believe
Let others decide what they perceive

When others ask questions of you
Point them to God's Word that is true
They may not agree with what you say
But God will work in His special way

Don't assume that they will understand
Take time to explain to them God's plan
Do it from a heart of gentleness and respect
Allow them the freedom to reject or accept

You have presented to them the facts
They are responsible for how they react
Be sensitive to the feelings of others
Let them see your love for one another

By showing them compassion and grace
They will be more apt to seek God's face
When they know how much you care
They will see God's love is everywhere

Colossians 4:6 (NIV)
Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt,
so that you may know how to answer everyone.
