The Price, His Life For Yours
Years He walked to ease our pain
Washing each soul of sinful stains
Cleansing the lost to clear the way
For all to see a better day
Yet this was brief and short lived
At Thirty Three all that he'd give
Would cost his life, to save someone
That's you today, your day he's won
Ignore the facts, but he's still here
Waiting for you to lose your fear
Of Him who came and testified
Saving mankind and that's no lie
He sees the thirst your soul but dry
He knows the curse, how evil tries
That runs rampant in man He made
That's you whose life living enslaved
He'd scratch his head if this would puzzle
But not the Lord, Hell tries to muscle
For nothing short of love is He
Omnipotent, why can't all see?
The price he paid, you'd never dream
Of forking out to live it seems
You rather go dutch treat and cheap
Instead awake, restless you sleep
The word dictates that no one can
See the Father before the Son Of Man
So shop around if you want to
Bargain basement, next stop for you
Hells gate awaits with open arms
All those Christ tries to save from harm
But some wont budge or think of Him
The price, His life, for yours that sins
