MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU






MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU






If only I could be there
If only to stroke your hair,
Or to even hold your hand
Together we`d make a stand.



United we`ve always stood
Just as two friends always should,
Now, your greatest hour of need
I`m not going to succeed.



It grieves me deep in my heart
That it`s time for us to part,
Loving thoughts to you I send
My broken heart will never mend.



My thoughts are with you my friend
Right up to the very end.
