Shoot me I'm the messenger

I am only a messenger,
but shoot me if you please.
I'm tired of being just another fool
That tries to do good deeds.
I did not ask to be this messenger
 always fighting to be heard.
Arguing with Neanderthals
It all just seems absurd.
The message I bring is simple
no cryptic notes of ill.
but to shoot me now would be the same
cause no one listens to us still.
It's such a simple message
from a very simple man…
‘try to be the one you see
helping all you can'!
