 Dead Sheep In The Rain

In the lower field
Where the river runs
And the willow weeps
Behind a clump of nettles
Lies the body
Of a dead sheep

The tyres splash
Through the puddles
On the muddy road
As they drive
Past the farm
In the rain
That was a good walk
She says to him
Just a shame about
The weather
It's good for the dogs
To have a run
They had some fun
Didn't they
Chasing the sheep
Through the fields
