My Streets
Whose there for You?
No Longer their Fool!
Just an Existence in my Mind?
A feather in the Storm

Don't hurt me
Don't hurt me
**** Could be TRIGGERING to some ****
Don't hurt me she said
as his fist hit her face
her words fell to the ground
she is in the wrong place
she thinks this is home
that's what it used to be
when they both started off
when she was young and free
But like a fox he waited
until the babies came along
then he had complete control
never seeing he was wrong
To him he was just a man
just like his dear old pa
who whipped him till he bled
that's what men did said his ma
Men thay kept things orderley
the family didn't stray
no one ever realised it
could be another way
The cycle carried onwards
as cycles always do
until the day when things went wrong
and tragedy showed through
Started as just as ''normal ''
like any other day
come the night and he came home
he'd had a real bad day
She was frazzled by the end of the day
At least the kids were in bed
he came in quiet and moody
he wasnt in a good mood he said
Tension built between them
she tried to make a stand
she tried to talk about it
but things got out of hand
he grabbed her as she passed him
pulling her to the ground
hatred peaked as he hit her head
then silence was abound
He went away for many a year
the family scattered afar
from his cell he pondered
he wish he could speak to his pa
he had tried to keep her in her place
just like his pa had done
how had he got where he was
just following what he had done
Until the cycles are broken
abuse will go on and on
behaviour learned at such a young age
will see people act wrongly for so long
