The Potters Hands
Hands that shaped the planet Earth
Stars spread across the universe
Would bring light by His command
To shine on man he made from land
Lush blades of grass He painted Green
Just one of many color schemes
He made for eyes to feast upon
What would we see if they were gone
Rocks perfect both big and small
To shape mountains and waterfalls
Displaying rainbows, reminding one
His love for man under the Sun
Seas salty, molded seashores
With waves crashing, but wait there's more
He'd pour by hand each living creature
To fill oceans with distinct features
Fingers spread to block Sunlight
Across time zones bringing the night
By Holy hands that nails would pierce
No longer scarred, powerful and fierce
Yet these hands gentle still hold
Above all things, precious His fold
That's you and me, doubtful mankind
He loves, and keeps in heart and mind
