Unlike stained glass with colors bold
GOD sees events yet to unfold
Through window panes mortal eyes wear
Shattered by sin and pain they bare
All eyes wander, sometimes too much
Seeking pleasures, reaching they clutch
To worldly things which open doors
That stains the soul, countless the scores
Many will try to wipe themselves
Clear, spotless of how they fell
Short of grace, yet shorter too
Windex can't clean, what GOD can do
Sanctuaries our Cathedrals
Will give some rest to minds feeble
But nothing less than dialogue
Is how to cleanse yourself with GOD
The colored glass will tell you stories
Of He that died and rose to glory
Appeal they do to all who view
Yet cannot save what CHRIST will do
You see God sees through us like glass
To Him we're first and never last
Unique all are, He'd never part
With what He claims, His work of art
