 Noahs Spark
Today in my garden whilst the bumblebee suckled upon the pollen
I told you of a person who you wont see but is never forgotten
And as you reached out to grasp the yellow buttered dandelion
I whispered in your ear about another time
About this amazing goddess and precious lady
Who if she were around today would spoil you crazy
You're big beautiful ocean filled blue eyes
Just answered me back with babies cries
And I held you and kissed your soft cheeks
And  I told you about where I had been all these weeks
About my journeys to distance lands
And I looked at your little grip in my hands
And the warm summer breeze brushed against us
And I cuddled you close to me without any fuss
And the cat came over the shed and into our garden
And you burped in my ear and I said " pardon"
Such innocence within a time of change
But my little nephew you will soon find this world so strange
But with love and honesty
And a strong and caring family
You will soon know why the bumblebee suckles the nectar
And off the greatest grandmother
And when you smile at me
It makes me realise the world holds such a great mystery
But I promise, I will tell you all about my mother
And how she still spoils you and loves you, little Noah.
