The Work of Christ
Christ is part of the triune God,
That we worship honor and laud;
And is not able to be seen,
But know He is now and has been.
Christ is truly the first born Son,
Before creation had begun;
Then He created Heaven and earth,
All seen and unseen given birth.
Along with power and forces,
As well as with all resources;
All things created by God's Son,
And was pleased after all was done.
Then sent by the Father to die,
Never did He sin or tell a lie;
But sacrificed and put to death,
To hang on the cross until death.
Christ is the beginning and the end,
And who had started a new trend;
For whoever in Him believes,
An eternal life one receives.
