The Price of Beauty
The Price of Beauty
Staring in the mirror
Of a face she doesn't know
Lines are getting clearer
That the face begins to show
Once a thing of beauty
Now her life seems much colder
Hair so gray and silky
Now lays upon her shoulder
The time now takes its toll
On a face admired by all
The fate of growing old
And the reason for her fall
Trapped inside this body
As depression fills her mind
Once she was a hottie
Now this face seems so unkind
Time is passing slowly
As she dreams about her past
This girl's feeling lonely
And the feelings seem to last
Staring in the mirror
Of a face that is no more
Money it did bring her
Just a few short years before
What a shameful story
Will this pattern ever stop
Beauty brings you glory
And it keeps you at the top
When you lose the beauty
The end is almost near
Your future then looks gloomy
Say goodbye to your career
Beauty's only skin deep
The real person's deep inside
Penalties are too steep
If our inner self we hide
