A Prayer of Thanks
Every time that I pray,
I'm lost for words what to say;
So much to be thankful for,
How to say it I'm not sure.
Blessings continue to flow,
Through out each day as I know;
Just passing a farmer's field,
The amount of harvest yield.
I look in the water and see,
Abundant fish in the sea;
And something catches my eye,
As a bird flies through the sky.
The blessings are all around,
Abounding in sight and sound;
Blessings both seen and unseen,
What is to be and has been.
The best blessing God has done,
Was for allowing His Son;
Crucified and sacrificed,
As our Lord Jesus Christ.
