 War Of Words
Sad to say what others feel
They crush your work and sometimes steal
Your joy, the ones you birth upon
This site that many will write on

Your work different than others write
No need to slam what others might
Read and feel it touched a spot
Inside their heart, not yours so what

That's why God made each one unique
To sing or act to write or speak
What floats your boat just may not sail
But sink or swim it's your short tale

Sometimes I read what others write
Critique their work thats taken flight
Above some minds but not above
Poets my peers. them thought of

Those who write with pompous thoughts
Can kill a message someone brought
To others who can use a smile
A laugh, a cry, someone defiled

So try I do to speak my peace
Through words written, a verbal feast
For all to dine and wine with me
I toast your work you let us read

Cheers!
