:*:*: The Strength of a Tree :*:*:
May I have the strength of a tree
Standing upright so majestically
With gnarled roots reaching deep
Twisting and grasping as they creep
Holding close to my hidden core
Principles of life's values as I soar
May I be as these gigantic trees
A symbol of admiration showing dignity
Not to be admired in a worldly way
But to be remembered for what I say
To share my knowledge with humility
Being an example of God's creativity
Leaving my mark upon the world
A glorious tribute as my roots curl
May I touch the hearts of my fellow men
Making a difference time and again
With actions that bequest compassion true
Forever remembered for all I do
May I be like a magnificent tree!
