Regal Pergola (1)
Two weeks,
Days and nights
have passed me by.
Where
I ached and such,
Making,
This Pergola.
Standing
Regal all right,
Save intriguing final
Golden lace,
The shrewdest
artistic touch.
I must halt,
Then.
Take Me
Fantastic rest.
Clean, slick,
Me
Glowing now.
I might charge
this bustling town,
This soppy night.
I will wine,
I will dine,
Yet,
I will be
Thinking,
Now and then,
Of mine
Regal pergola.
