in the evening...
the day sinks into nothing
with a tiny touch of now-
i sit awhile relaxing
without a thought of how...
the darkness gathers slowly
as shadows splash and spin-
i slouch into the evening
and let my dreaming win...
the wine releases freedom
that floats and flows so light-
i feel it's warmth and sweetness
as i melt into the night...
