Weaving the world
Through six degrees of separation
And it seems that
Every other day I meet
A soul that I remember from another lifetime
She feels like a new friend
I haven't seen in a long time
I thank the divine for the gift
Of awareness, that heightens
The blessing of Serendipity
In my life on a daily basis.
Just walking alone with me for a day is enough to know that six degrees of separation is more like one or two.
Skepticism is reduced
To knowledge in a single afternoon…
All I know is that existence
Is a relationship with the Divine
It doesn't require the acknowledgement of it,
to be real.
But when you engage the love affair full on…
Serendipity!
Abounds in all directions
Soul mates come out the cracks
The best nature in all
Becomes attracted to its light
Something awakens
Breaks,
Shakes free
Abundance opens
Miracles occur,
Not in time,
But in a matter
Of seconds, minutes or a few
Short hours…
What would happen
If we all lived this way
With the expectation
Of Serendipity
Of the love affair with
The Divine in everything we do?
Is our pessimism and victimization
And angry rants of “poor me”
Really working for us?
Just pretend,
Let in the idea
That Serendipity
Is in each encounter,
Thought, and chance meeting
That your beloved is in
Everything you see…
Then,
Just maybe when another meets you
They too will believe
In Serendipity.
