As you look back at all the years
Have you lived what has appeared
Happy, content, maybe defeated
Mundane, no where, life so repeated
Often I do ask this one question
Where are we now, yours truly mentioned
To think it's not by my own will
But Gods plan yet to be filled
We squirm, complain, impatience sets
Body and soul less we forget
That all we've done and yet to do
Have been timed for me and you
Lord knows where all this will end
Chasing pipe dreams and how we'll spend
What's left of life and what we give
To Him who saves and still forgives
There's no time table although I wish
We could change that, this soul God fished
But what we think are not his thoughts
Thats why I write of Him who brought
Yesterday, today and tommorows to come
Family and friends entering His Kingdom
Those who chose wisely, He'd have to say
Now walk with The Truth, The Life and The Way
So today may not be one had wished for
But God knows all this, He wrote your life's score
Be mindful and grateful for all you recieve
