Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

A friend with no friendly face

The shutters are up, doors are closed
no light will enter my space.
I am surrounded with darkness my closest friend
… who cares not for life's constant race.
The darkness holds freedom the prize of them all
freedom to be all I please.
The freedom of thought and all that may bring
… space to fall to my knees.

The darkness constant, nothing new
the same thing day after day.
No colours to brighten or lighten my mood
… no light to light up my way.
I am lost in the shadows, being free
no light will enter my space.
I am surrounded by darkness my closest friend
A friend with no friendly face.
