How do I thank you
For all that you have done
How do I tell you
Now that you have gone.
I tried to tell you
Oh so many times.
I did tell you once or twice
But only in my mind.
You have helped me to learn
What life is really about
I know I didn't tell you
But I finally figured it out.
I'm honored to know you
One to call a true Friend
I'm fortunate to have met you
I'd do it all over again.
My life is so much better
For knowing the inner you
I am more at peace now
For that I owe it to you.
So thank you My Sweet Friend
For all that you have done
I treasure the brief time we had
Even more since you are gone.
