Heart Of The Matter
This Daughter's Love
Such pride she pledges in her song,
This father she has loved so long,
A tribute tender, Oh! so true,
She flies the flag,
Red, white and blue,
He served his country,
Served his God,
She sang his song,
How we applaud,
So proud of her,
Through all these years,
She visits, smiles,
She hides her tears,
His eyes still twinkle,
With delight,
She is his star,
His guiding light,
He is her gift,
From God above,
Can we deny?
