Servant of the Lord
The Lord tell me what to say,
Gives me the right words every day;
To encourage the weary,
Feeling a little dreary.
Each day He awakens me,
With His light so I can see;
And to learn what He has taught,
With answers that I have sought.
He made me willing to hear,
I know His words are sincere;
Not rebel or run away,
Neither tempted for to stray.
Others may spat in my face,
Insulting me in disgrace;
But never causing despair,
Because of His love and care.
So I will walk in the light,
With His wisdom and insight;
As His servant to embark,
Staying away from the dark.
