Words of Life, Love and Praise

In Love With You

Such an enticing, manly cologne
Filled my office as you strolled in
And briskly asked my name,
Your smile lit up the room so bright
The lamps bowed their shades in shame.
Your hand brushed mine
As you reached for a pen,
And I saw the gleam in your eyes -
You quickly sat back
And looked at me,
When I smiled, to your surprise…
We spent several hours together that day
Pouring over unnecessary things,
And you came back every day
Flashing the gleaming smile,
That gave my heart new wings.
With our first kiss it was all over
It was then for certain I knew -
You were my tomorrows, forever
My hearts song, my last…
I was in love with you.
