You say I'm beautiful,
And lean in for a kiss,
I pull back quickly,
And say "What's all this?"

You look embarrassed,
And try to make me calm,
Try to catch my eye line,
And stroke my arm.

You seem to be calm,
Say it's me you can't resist,
You say it now,
Only when you are p***ed.

You tell me I have beautiful eyes,
And you love my hair,
That you really love me,
And the clothes I wear.

In my heart I believe you,
When you ask me to stay,
Then my heart over rules,
And I know I've got to go away.

I'll only be hurt,
When you've had your wish,
You'll leave me behind,
And move onto another dish.

It's happened before,
With me and other guys,
They told me I was beautiful,
A princess in disguise.

Then all too soon I was left,
Like Cinderella after her ball,
That she thought would last forever,
No happy endings after all.

So don't call me beautiful,
If you're intentions are not true,
Because although I am beautiful,
I'm too good for the likes of you.
