HOLIDAY WEATHER

HOLIDAY WEATHER

Raindrops are falling all around
Making a very loud sound
Falling on the caravan roof
It`s a good job it is rain proof.

And just as the day was dawning
Strong winds broke a pole in the awning.
Dark grey clouds race past overhead,
It makes you want to stay in bed.

I keep searching the dark grey sky
Hoping a blue patch to espy,
There`ll be no beach today for sure
The sand`s wet thru` on the seashore.

So now what is there left to do,
It`ll be far too wet at the zoo,
Could always go down Poldark Mine,
For that it doesn`t have to be fine.

Endless rain yet hours to fill
Just as well it's warm with no chill,
Holiday weather?  I think not
Still this is all that I have got.
