Fight it
Another day has past,
And its still lurking in the wings.
Behind the mask of happiness,
That i use to hide bad things.
Its creeping up slowly,
Its ready to attack.
It knows that i am surviving,
But thrives when i lack.
It isn't very happy,
As i smile without shame,
Is it going to get me,
Am i about to relive the pain.
I must not let it get me,
I must stand and fight,
Will i be held in its trap forever,
Can i not do no right.
They are only bad memories,
Just keep thinking that.
Then you'll stand ten feet tall,
When it comes back and attacks.
Your one of many,
Your not on your own.
Remember these words,
And your smile will soon grow.
