Silent Screams
Silent Screams
Dance on little Princess
don't forget to bow
twirling and dancing
like you've been shown how
Be a star in the spotlight
while your parents watch on
living out those private dreams
if only this is how there life had gone
Still even if they hadn't made it
their daughter would succeed
it wouldn't really matter then
they would be very pleased.
Not so their little daughter
she hated it all
she hated the spotlight
she panicked when they called.
Why didn't they listen?
she told them all the time
all they did was turn away
telling her that she'd be fine.
How many little Princessess
live out their parents dreams?
hating every minute
holding in silent screams
Value your children
encourage them in all that they do
let them grow and be themselves
not a replica of what you hoped would
be YOU!!
