There was a daddy long legs i say
hanging on the wall,
i wondered if he'd take me for a ride today
cause i was bored and all.
He just winked at me with a smile
and said trust me little one,
we'll have a good old time all the while
till the day is done.
But being just a fly you see
i thought i'd better think twice,
for he might decide to eat me
and that wouldn't be very nice.
Just cause they're big and powerful
you don't have to follow their lead,
for it's on the trusting soul
that they tend to feed!
