A fisherman needs good bait
Then a willingness to wait
Before he finally receives a bite
He may pull with all his might
Our enemy, Satan, has many names
Deceit and temptation are his games
Luring you into his trap and snare
Catching you off guard, if unaware
Your first and only source of defense
Is to have Jesus on your side as offense
When you open up your heart's door
He will come in to dwell forevermore
Set free from Satan's firm hold on you
Jesus will be your guide in all you do
His Spirit is your seal for all eternity
You have His promise with certainty
Satan will still try hard to have his way
Know the Bible by studying everyday
Always be prepared and ready to attack
Stay close to Jesus and don't look back
When Satan decides to throw his darts
You will know exactly where to start
Quoting God's Word will be his demise
It hits him like a knife between the eyes
With Jesus as Savior, you are His child
Don't give in to Satan, who is ever wild
When you praise Jesus in word or song
Rest assured that Satan will not stay long
