Heart Of The Matter
The Need To Write
You're the kind of man,
That won't give up,
No matter what's in store,
No matter how life hits on you,
You keep coming back for more,
You hold on to your fantasies,
For you know that dreams come true,
And even when you're wracked with pain,
You let your light shine through,
You've inspired me like no other,
For you taught me how to fly,
And I could never let you go,
Nor ever say goodbye,
And every single breath I take,
Will wing its way to you,
I know that as you read my lips,
Each word will ring so true,
Yes, miracles do happen,
When love comes into play,
I just felt the need to write,
These words,
For you ... to read today.
