From the Heart Through the Pen

Quite Like This

There's your face
Beauty refined with finesse
Your body
Resembling that of a goddess
Loving these days it is you
I kiss and caress

Your smile cured my heart
Of this loneliness
A heart once torn apart
You brought back together
A heart once overwhelmed in disbelief
A heart you would steal
Yet I won't call you thief

A love you help nurture
One that is so blind
Yet I can see
Our meant to be future
Praying to the Good Lord
That we won't lose this
Because this I couldn't afford to lose

Praying also the right path we choose
I'm waiting for the day
Where we exchange I do's
That day when I taste your lips
I'll know once and for all
There's no moment in life
