Thy Will
Purpose driven some will pass by
Exceeding speeds engaged in ties
With wills their own not stopping for
To know of Christ and Heavens door
Thy will is used for other things
Empty of faith, barren they cling
In emptiness their cup will stay
It was thy will to walk that way
Thy will, their fate will stare at them
But blind with sight, souls they condemn
Having a choice but choosing not
To call to me, thy will forgot
Thy will is spent on greater things
Or so they think, they'll need nothing
When passing on but not retain
Their right of passage, thy will my pain
Thy will could change if they would search
In my great book or in my church
That some forego, no time today
Thy will made up and stays that way
Thy will, will not
Remind them of the straw and lot
We drew when I once walked the Earth
Thy will condemned when I was birthed
Thy will has time to change thy ways
For loved are thee who walks away
From one who fathered all you see
Thy will, not mine, thy have decreed
