           THE  FINAL  APPOINTMENT

                             Hebrews 9-27
And  it  is  appointed  unto  men  once  to  die  but  after  this  the judgment

Appointments  are  made  most  everyday,
Some  we  will  keep, some  will  be  canceled,
Some  so  unimportant, we  simply  forget.

Doctors,  lawyers,  beauty  salon,  accountant,
Car  pool,  cub  scout  meeting, all  can  be
Canceled,  given  good  reason, dentist,  caterer,
Daughters  recital  at  school, these  too  can  be
Canceled,  that  is  the  rule.

But  there's  one  final  appointment, that  we  will  all
Keep,  some  will  rejoice,  others  will  weep, we  will
Stand  before  Almighty  God, The  ancient  of  days,
A  book  will  be  opened, many  names  will  be
There, but  my  friend, if  your  name  is
Not  listed,  It's  then, too  late  for  prayer.

While  we're  still  alive, repentance  must  be  made,
When  you  take  your  final  breath, then, friend,
It's  too  late, into  outer  darkness, in  flames  for
Eternity, I  pray  as  you  read  these  words, that  you
Might  count  the  cost, there  will  be  no  canceling
This  appointment,  please, don't  let  it  find  you  lost.
