 Broken Glass
the glass fell to the floor
can I take any more
the glass shattered
does it matter
the glass broke
i never spoke
what would I say
oh! no not today
it's Saturday
my mood is like broken glass
feelings like mine don't pass
i am scattered into so many pieces
like broken glass
don't know if I can ever be
put together
finally broken
like shattered glass
scattered
broken
forever
does it really
matter

2007 Janet Irene Griffin
