A thought to all you drinking boys,
is your self image poor?
Was it you who, with a scowl
entered this bar room door?
Did your good wife kick your ass out,
and bid you not return?
Does your old dog avoid your gaze,
and show you no concern?
Do you drink to enjoy yourself,
or just try to forget?
Do you act like yourself when drunk
by showing disrespect?
Do those who see you turn away
because you are upset?
Must you really conduct yourself
as later you regret?
Then be it known that no one here
wants to share your grim, grief;
That others wish to well enjoy
their evening of relief,
And wish to speak attentively
to the friends that they know
While having a casual drink
to enhance social glow.
If you insist on being fresh
or bullying today,
The others here would sure suggest
that you be on your way
To join the people of your ilk,
of little brain and soul,
Because you see, my irksome friend,
