The Facts of Life
The Facts of Life
Came home from work early today
No kids are in the house
My wife came up to me to say
Hey check this body out
Undressing her with my mind
My heart is pounding fast
We close the door in hopes to find
That good times really last
She tears the clothes off myself
And throws me on the bed
She says we're in the love hotel
And that we're newlyweds
Just as things were heating up
My body up and quits
I've been waiting fourteen months
To end up just like this?
Life's not fair in fact it stinks
There's nothing I can do
I tell my wife I need a drink
She tells me that we're through
I don't think she understands
I'm not some young Houdini
I am not a magic man
And she is not a genie
We must face the facts of life
As hard as it may hurt
I'm her man and she's my wife
And I'm as old as dirt
But there is hope in medicine
It's not our last hurrah
Tonight's the night that I begin
Using my viagra
