The Fight
Frustration envelopes my being,
With a gap in between its veins.
Tears soak my heart,
As they clutch me with its stains.
Confusion follows behind,
As an evil mistress right beside.
I compel myself to ignore these feelings,
Yet I know I just cannot hide.
Wishing... wanting what is not there,
Hoping and yearning to see a smile.
I would pounce upon these feelings,
Even if it meant to run a mile.
Oh the frustration,
That eats away at my heart.
I cannot find myself right now,
For I know the roller coaster is about to start.
Up and down emotions will fly,
Which will blind me from sight.
I will not fall back and I will not hide,
For I love him and for that I will fight.
