You Say That You Love Me, How can that be true?
You say that you love me,
How can that be true?
When with every day that
Passes drinking is all you do.
You try to function out in
Society,
But really, all your doing is
Embarrassing me.
Your breath smells of alcohol
You stumble about,
How can you think clearly
Your drunk again no doubt.
I have no chance at loving you,
The beer comes first,
You say I mean the world to you
How can that be with such
A thirst.
You say that you could give it
Up anytime day or night,
Then you pick another one up
And cringe when its not in sight.
You want to become a better
Person by putting the beer down,
And then you pass out and
Sleep with no sound.
I've tried to over look some
Of the things you do,
You say that you love me,
How can that be true?
