To touch your heart, relieve it's pain
Wishing I would with hope you'd gain
That zest for life, you knew before
That rest all need, your soul implores
Emptiness that needs it fill
You wish there were a special pill
To take, to ease what troubles you
Wrenching the feeling, in you runs through
These cries unheard, that shed your tears
Inside, unseen, outside appears
That all is well, yet all is not
Seems like you, all have forgot
Pounding this pain that knocks you down
Fierce are it's punches making no sound
Yet pain they do bring, leaving no marks
Outside of your shell, pleading it embarks
No one will see what goes on in you
No one but GOD, sees all of this too
To comfort His child beaten to submission
To heal what ails them, His one solemn mission
Fear not this darkness that brings all your sadness
Bare Him who bore madness and changed it to gladness
For GOD is your answer who has not forsaken
The withered who him for granted have taken
