It's Not Really Raining
Why do they keep telling me it's sunny?
When there's actually an everlasting gloom
How can they not see the rain,
Droplets falling in pairs of two
Why don't they use their umbrellas?
Not that they ever helped me...
Somehow the rain gets through them
And creates on my face two streams
Why aren't they sinking in the puddles?
Am I the only one suffocating?
They don't have to come up for air...
So why am I not breathing?
Why do they smile about good weather?
When it's cold, dark, and wet
Why can't they feel the stabbing rain?
Why am I Despair's only target?
Why can't I feel the sun?
Because of this storm everthing is gray...
They keep telling me it's not erally raining...
So when will these tears go away?
