I don't have a creative thought in my head,
I've nothing at all interesting to pen, erase
My words again and again, pencil's getting
Dull, papers wearing thin
When will those creative juices start to flow?
I don't have forever, sitting here, collecting
Dust and getting old
Yep, my writing has really gotten awful,
Roses are "umm" Violets are "ahh" talk
About writers block, mine takes the cake,
Even my cat knows, I'm trying to fake
I can force my body to wash a dish or
Push a broom, but when my brain goes on
Strike! what can I do?
