Starlight, star bright
why do you still shine tonight?
The professors say you died long ago
yet, in the night you still glow.
My God, what all you may have seen
above the Earth being so serene.
You glow in somber loving bliss
over this world that may seem amiss.
Could this place be the one that's dead
and your energy be alive instead?
Could life only truly begin
whence to the source we return again?
My body will die and my energy roam
I too will shine from my new home.
