I don't want to write like Longfellow.
I don't want to write like Poe.
I just want to write some verses
about things people might know.
I don't want to condemn another,
I don't want to harm one's heart,
I just want to write a few verses
where my word smithing might start.
The words I write might be long,
the concepts I write might be short,
yet, within a few of my verses,
could be some thoughts you abort.
But with some of my concepts
that cause you conflict to find.
One day you will see in my verses,
they're from the unconscious mind.
